Robert Leedy was raised in Pike County, Ohio. He is a 2018 graduate of the West Virginia School of preaching in Moundsville, West Virginia.

Robert married Rani (Maddix) Leedy of Lewis County, Kentucky in 2013 and together they have four children. Ryan, Ranae, Ryleigh and Remington.
